Sculpture & Vessels

Climb to the view, walk along the cliff, see the ocean, lochs, lochans, streams mapping the peat bog and shaping the land. Heather root tangles, across the moor, over the horizon, sky meets earth as a feather lands on a stone, follow the coast, the rocks under foot.

I wish to capture these fleeting moments, to hold them as timeless reminders of details in the landscape. The heather root is a reminder of dark and light, under and over earth, growing from the land which nourishes us. Then another moment in which a feather settles on a rock, bringing together the sky and land, closing the space between.
